St. Gregory the Great's First Annual Gala

In October St. Gregory the Great held its first annual gala at the Torrey Pines Hilton. The theme was "An Evening in Tuscany." More than 400 parishioners joined in the festivities. The purpose of the evening was to celebrate community and honor Deacon Ferris Bell.

Deacon Bell is a longtime Scripps Ranch resident and a founding member of St. Gregory the Great Parish. During the event, he was honored with a slide presentation recounting a few of the highlights of his life. He was also given a plaque expressing the appreciation and love of his parish family.

Both a silent and a live auction were part of the evening's events. The funds from both auctions will be used for parish development.
