SRLAX Girls Win Tournament

After completing the regular fall season with a 1-7 record, the SRLAX Girls 14U team (pictured at top) bounced back and fought through injuries and illness to finish the end-of-season San Diego Fall Shootout tournament as division champions! “Our girls played with heart and hustle,” said Coach Maria Brooks. “They gave 1000%, and we couldn’t be more proud! They worked so hard to come together as a team, with girls new to the sport to those who have played for years. They continuously supported and encouraged each other. This championship win was so well deserved by each and every one of them!”

Coach Kira Dosenberry added, “The girls never let defeat or setbacks keep them down. They got right back up and fought with all the heart inside of them. Coach Maria and I are both so proud of their resiliency and ability to come together as a team when they needed each other the most. It was beautiful to watch them grow so much in such a short amount of time!”
