    Stargazing in Stonebridge returns on Friday, July 28th ~ 7pm-10pm. Join the SD Astronomy Association at the east end of Stonebridge Parkway (rain or clouds cancel) for a magical look at the stars. No white lights. Please park on the street and walk in. Kids welcome.   • Carroll Canyon Mixed Use Development

    The final Environmental Impact Report for the proposed Apartment and Commercial complex on Carroll Canyon Road at I-15 has been released by the City of San Diego. The entire EIR is available here. The Scripps Ranch Planning Group will hear this item in committee starting at 6:00pm on Thursday, July 6, at the Library. The meeting is open to the public. The project requires a zoning change as well as a variety of permits. The full Planning Group will then vote on its recommendation for this project to the Planning Commission and City Council.

The awards ceremony was held May 28 at the Balboa Theatre in downtown San Diego.

Residential Recycled Water Fill Station is a part of the City of San Diego's continuous efforts to provide programs and services that reduce inefficient water use. Recycled water is available to City of SD Public Utilities customers (must bring copy of your bill) for your personal use at your property.

    Rob Holmes, SRCA 50 Plus Chair, hosted the first ever event focused solely on connecting local community groups and non-profits to each other and then to residents. He provided a very successful forum for collaboration, discussion, and outreach -- wrapped up in fun and music. It's one of the many ways SRCA helps our neighborhood stay connected.

  • Stargazing in West Sycamore

    The San Diego Astronomy Association (SDAA) is staging a public Stars at Mission Trails on the fourth Friday of each month from 7 to 10:00 p.m., October thru May (No Star Party in November and December is the third Friday), and 8:00 to 10:30 p.m., June thru September.

    The event is held at the MTRP West Sycamore Staging Area, which is located at the very east end of Stonebridge Parkway in Scripps Ranch. Rain and or coudy skies cancels event.

The Scripps Ranch Friends of the Library (SRFOL) exists to support the operation of the Scripps Miramar Ranch Library Center. The SRFOL, through volunteer services, assists library patrons, hosts special events, operates a used book store (Grace's Book Nook), and provides financial support for acquisitions and community activities.
