    The Robotic Outrageous Boys of Technology, a First Lego League team of Scripps Ranch 5th graders, needs your help! They won the Champion’s Award at the Qualifying competition and now they’re heading to Regionals this week!

    Please watch, like and share their stop-motion lego movie encouraging kids to conserve water. They created it all themselves to encourage kids to conserve water.

  • Support SRHS Basketball!

    Please support the Scripps Ranch High School Men's and Women's Basketball programs by bringing your recyclables to the high school theater parking lot on November 18th & 19th anytime from 9 am to 4 pm.

    Items accepted include: Computers, Laptops, Monitors, CRT, Televisions, Printers, Servers, Routers, Keyboards, Hard Drives, Fax Machines, Telephones, Cell phones, Wire and Cable, Power Supplies, Circuit Boards, Video Equipment, Typewriters, Stereo Equipment, Credit Card Machines.....just about anything that plugs in! Copiers, Microwaves & Vacuums accepted for a fee. There will also be document shredding - $5 per banker's box!

  • SDGE Sycamore to Penasquitos Project Update

    SDGE postponed day work activities on Monday, October 23 through Wednesday, October 25 due to extreme fire threat conditions throughout the region.

    Activities in the communities of Scripps Ranch and Stonebridge resumed yesterday. Work activities in these communities continue to include surveying, conduit installations, trenching and paving. Saturday work from 8:00 am - 4:00 pm in will continue in this area.

    Stargazing in Stonebridge returns on Friday, October 27th ~ 7pm-10pm. Join the SD Astronomy Association at the east end of Stonebridge Parkway (rain or clouds cancel) for a magical look at the stars. No white lights. Please park on the street and walk in. Kids welcome.     Rob Holmes, SRCA 50 Plus Chair, hosted the first ever event focused solely on connecting local community groups and non-profits to each other and then to residents. He provided a very successful forum for collaboration, discussion, and outreach -- wrapped up in fun and music. It's one of the many ways SRCA helps our neighborhood stay connected.

  • Stargazing in West Sycamore

    The San Diego Astronomy Association (SDAA) is staging a public Stars at Mission Trails on the fourth Friday of each month from 7 to 10:00 p.m., October thru May (No Star Party in November and December is the third Friday), and 8:00 to 10:30 p.m., June thru September.

    The event is held at the MTRP West Sycamore Staging Area, which is located at the very east end of Stonebridge Parkway in Scripps Ranch. Rain and or coudy skies cancels event.

The Scripps Ranch Friends of the Library (SRFOL) exists to support the operation of the Scripps Miramar Ranch Library Center. The SRFOL, through volunteer services, assists library patrons, hosts special events, operates a used book store (Grace's Book Nook), and provides financial support for acquisitions and community activities.
