Girl Scouts

Cookie season has come to a profitable end. Thank you again, Amie Lyons, and her team
of dedicated cookie volunteers. We look forward to announcing the top sellers at our fall sales award night; more details to come.

Our next community/leader meeting is Monday, Apr. 8 at 7pm in Dingeman's multi-purpose room encampment. At 6 pm, planning meetings start for bridging (Sunday, June 9) and the two weekends of Camp Surf. Please plan on sending a troop representative so you don't miss out on important news.

The April team meeting is Monday, Apr. 22 at 7 pm in the Dingeman multi-purpose room. Any troop that needs to present their bronze, silver or gold awards to the community/leader meeting must first present to the team for approval and suggestions. Contact the service unit if you’d like to present or attend.

Another Powder Puff Derby, World Thinking Day and Cadette Encampment are in the books. Great job to all who participated and contributed their time and talents to these events.

Only registered Girl Scouts are allowed to sign up for summer camps so if your girl wants to join a Scripps Ranch troop, contact our service unit registrar at [email protected] Be sure to register by June 1 to qualify for the 2020 membership patch (after June 1st, available for $1, while supplies last).

Mark your calendar for our Spring Discovery Night in the Dingeman multi-purpose room Tuesday, May 7, 7-8 pm. You can meet council and service unit representatives while your daughter has fun with crafts and other girls. It's one hour of intense Girl Scout fun.

Spring registrations are underway. We could use three to four volunteers to help review the financials of our renewing troops. It would lighten the load. Let us know if you can help with this annual process. And on the financial note, we can use a new troop treasurer; Lynn is retiring. Contact us if you hear a voice telling you to step up.

Got questions? Need to be added to our Google or Facebook Group? Email us at [email protected] For all registered leaders, check out your Scripps Ranch Girl Scouts Facebook page. Thank you for all you do for your girls.
