Mission Statement

 

The mission of the Scripps Ranch Civic Association is to serve, promote, and protect the community interests of Scripps Ranch through volunteer efforts; to identify and evaluate needs, disseminate information, and take appropriate action to support Scripps Ranch organizations with the common goal of improving the quality of life in our community.

Website

The domain name of www.scrippsranch.org is the official site of the Scripps Ranch Civic Association (SRCA) on the Internet. The purpose of the site is to provide timely information of interest to the residents and businesses of Scripps Ranch. Support of community activities and projects as well as recognition of achievement of residents are emphasized.

The SRCA Executive Board has final authority regarding all decisions concerning the site, including form, content, and adminstration.

Web Site Objectives

Serve as the electronic counterpart of the SRCA Newsletter.

Provide residents of the community with timely information about:

  • SRCA organization, meetings, and actions
  • Community-wide activities and non-profit organizations
  • Government activities including city, county, state, and federal offices
  • School events and activities
  • Amateur sports
  • Local religious organizations
  • Local public facilities, including parks and open space
  • History of the community
  • Links to other sites with information about the above items

Maintain a site accessible to the majority of community residents having access to the Internet.
