The Baranek family invites you to join us on April 22, to celebrate the life and loves of Carson Robert Baranek, who passed away suddenly on March 1, 2023. During his 19+ years of life, he was a beloved son, brother, nephew, cousin and grandson to our entire family. He loved his family passionately, in particular his sister Brooke who he called his best friend. He was also a friend to many others who appreciated his infectious smile, clever sense of humor and willingness to join in the fun. Carson loved the outdoors, nature, sports and music and we hope to share those joys with you on this day.
We have chosen to honor him on Earth Day because the outdoors fed his soul. Carson loved to explore nature through sports and recreation. He was an avid rock climber, hiker, backpacker, camper, mountain biker, surfer, and skier who had no fear when trying new sports. He played soccer, lacrosse and waterpolo with the passion of an athlete and enjoyed being a part of a team. When not playing sports, Carson was often known to sit on the beach or pull out a hammock and just relax enjoying the view. He also loved home cooking with fresh ingredients grown in our family garden that he helped plant. He enjoyed grilling and pizza-making, often taking over the meal preparation for his family. Carson’s fondness for music was extensive, eclectic and often loud, so we plan to play some of his favorites on this day as well.
