Thousands of people call the Scripps Ranch community their home and who can blame them? A temperate climate, beautiful homes surrounded by lush landscaping, and canyons and open spaces. What makes Scripps Ranch so appealing to humans, also makes it appealing to the native wildlife. Coyotes, skunks, opossums and rattlesnakes have all been in the area since well before San Diego became home to the millions of people that now live here and they are not going away. Learn how to coexist with coyotes and rattlesnakes and how to keep yourselves and your pets safe all at the same time.
