Janet Meredith (Liebman), known lovingly as Jan to her family and friends, passed away on June 27, 2025, at the age of 74. A longtime resident of Scripps Ranch, San Diego, Jan cherished the vibrant community where she raised her family and built lifelong connections.

Born on September 22, 1950, in Spokane, Washington, Jan grew up in a close-knit family, developing a passion for community involvement and family life. She and her ex-husband built a home in Scripps Ranch, where she devoted herself to raising her children and supporting local causes. Jan worked in the family print business for many years, known for her warmth, generosity, and unwavering support for those around her—especially through her active volunteering at her kids’ events, from school activities to neighborhood gatherings.

Jan’s love for Scripps Ranch was evident in her enthusiasm for community life, where she enjoyed family time, hosting events at her house, spending time with her grandkids, and shopping. Her home was always a welcoming place for family gatherings and celebrations, reflecting her deep commitment to those she loved.

Survived by sons Eric Finch, Cory Finch, Sam Liebman, daughter Brittany Liebman, and grandchildren Cassidy, Jackson, Cameron, Cullen, Hope, Bella, and Winston. Jan was predeceased by her parents and grandson Tristan.

A Celebration of Life will be held on September 7, 2025, at 1pm, at 35850 Messara St, Fallbrook, CA 92028, where friends and family are invited to share memories and honor her legacy. Flowers are welcome.

Jan will be deeply missed and forever remembered. Her love for her family, her friends, and the Scripps Ranch community touched so many lives and will be cherished by all who knew her.
