Families of the MRE community are diligently working to bring a Dual Language Immersion Program to Miramar Ranch Elementary School for the Fall of 2025, giving our kids the chance to learn in both English and Spanish. This program is completely optional for kids at MRE, not everyone is required to participate. The goal is to help students become bilingual, biliterate, and culturally aware while boosting their academic success. This program is all about creating a more inclusive and diverse learning environment that prepares our kids to be confident, global citizens in a fun and engaging way.

How the community can help:
Getting this program off the ground takes all of us! Families can help by filling out the district’s interest forms ASAP (and emailing them to [email protected]) if they’re excited about having their kids join the program and by spreading the word to friends and neighbors. You can also show support by attending meetings, chatting with school staff, and staying in touch with updates from the SR Bilingual team. Together, our voices and enthusiasm can help make this amazing opportunity a reality for our kids!
