The Scripps Ranch Planning Group (SRPG) is seeking feedback from residents about their opinion as to whether or not to support a change in the Community Plan from Industrial to Regional Commercial (and rezone) for the northeast corner of I-15 and Carroll Canyon Road. The survey is four questions and your responses will be kept confidential. Only a summary of all responses will be released.
The developer, Sudberry Properties, has non-disclosure agreements with prospective tenants, but there has been no announcement of names of tenants nor confirmation or denial of what tenants may occupy the space. It has been reported at public meetings that WalMart may be a prospective tenant.
The Scripps Ranch Civic Association issued a Special Report in the November 2013 Newsletter outlining the specifics about the proposal. Here is a link to that Special Report:

Sudberry Properties is responding to each of the comments received by the community as they relate to the adequacy of the Draft Environmental Impact Report (EIR). Once the City approves the responses and any changes to the EIR, then a Final EIR will be released. At that time, the Scripps Ranch Planning Group will make a recommendation to the City Planning Commission who in turn will make its recommendation to the City Council for approval or denial of the project.
The SRCA is pleased to bring you this survey as it is our mission to not only provide you with information about our community but to relay information to “decision makers” like the city council.
