The SRCA is hosting a community meeting Tuesday, January 10th at 7 pm at the SR Library Community Room with the developer Austin Diaz.

The Renzulli Estates development being pursued by the Phair Company is 112 residential units (100 single residential homes and 12 affordable apartments). The 40 acre property is located on Cypress Canyon Road that will connect by this project. It is west of Cypress Canyon Park.

The City Planning Commission authorized city staff to analyze the impacts of the development and the Draft Environmental Impact Report (DEIR) was expected to be released last Summer. The State of California Fish and Game reportedly wants to perserve specifica acreage meaning the location of four homes and storm water pollution retention basins needs to be relocated. The shift is move the units off Mondial Court and move them to the south. The planned community access to the open space on the south and north of the development is removed.

To accomodate moving the residential units to the south the apartments were moved to the east side. An new street was added as well as retaining walls on the westside of the project visible from a few Cypress Valley Drive homes. A 25′ to 40′ tall soil nail wall is required along the eastern property boundary.
