Scripps-Mesa Bible Church

Can you know God? How does one come to experience God? Scripps-Mesa Bible Church (SMBC) believes that we live life in the sphere of God and that God is accessible through the everyday events, encounters, and surroundings of life. These twin beliefs point us to the larger truth that God is approachable.

Jesus came to earth not only to provide forgiveness of sin through his death and resurrection, but also to be a visual aid for God. God desires to be known and experienced. It is toward this end that God has given us creation, the Bible, and Jesus.

We at SMBC seek to order our services and ministries to help people experience God. We incorporate classical spiritual disciplines in our services, hold one-day retreats, and provide spiritual direction to help people experience God.

Scripps Ranch Christian Church (SRCC)

Please join us as we sing and spread good cheer at the Manor Care Home in Poway on Sunday, June 29. The folks there look forward to our visits and especially love the music and interaction with the children. Help us brighten the lives of seniors in our community by giving the gift of companionship.

SRCC is a safe place for you and your family to explore and build relationships with God and others who are on the same journey. We involve all members– young, old, and in-between–in our services and ministries. We are interdenominational and welcome all faiths.

Please visit us on Sundays at 10:15 am at Ellen Browning Scripps Elementary School. Children and youth programs meet during the service. Come see how we are "Enriching Lives Together." For details, call Pastor Hanna at 442-8802.
