Scripps Ranch Christian Church (SRCC)
Our church has relocated into the beautiful new Ellen Browning Scripps Elementary School at 10380 Spring Canyon Road! Please join us at 10:15 am on Sunday for practical messages that inspire faith and hope in facing the challenges of daily life.
February happenings include the Men’s Breakfast at 7:30 am on Saturday, Feb. 2, at Mimi’s Cafe and our God Chaser’s study group meeting at 9 am on Tuesdays. Our monthly Movie Night is a big hit. We start with dinner, then the movie, followed by a discussion of the spiritual themes and ethics in the film. For more information on this and our other programs, please call 442-8802.
SRCC is an interdenominational church that offers a casual, caring environment where you can connect with God and develop friendships. From I-15, exit Scripps Poway Parkway and go east. Turn right on Spring Canyon Road and make a left into the parking lot of the school.

Scripps Mesa Bible Church (SMBC)
In the book of Ecclesiastes, a book of great honesty and brutal truth, the writer says God has placed eternity into the hearts of people. God has given each of us an inner sense of a reality beyond our mundane existence. It is an awareness that compels us to accomplish, create, and succeed. Sadly, we often settle for so much less in life. Ecclesiastes shares the disheartening wisdom of one who honestly looked at all his pursuits and found them ultimately a waste of time and energy. He ends his searching with these words: “Here is the conclusion of the matter: Fear God and keep His commands.”
We at SMBC desire for you to have fullness of life through Jesus Christ. We are here to help you not merely exist, but embrace the adventure of faith God desires for you and sent His son to provide for you.
Chabad of Scripps Ranch invites the community to their Purim festivities. The holiday of Purim celebrates the downfall of Haman and his plan to annihilate the Jews in ancient Persia. It is customary to hear the Scroll of Esther, the Megillah, twice, once in the evening and once during the day. Chabad will have a Megillah reading and Purim party on Monday evening, Feb. 25, beginning at 6:30 pm. There will be a masquerade contest, food, music, and lots of fun for all ages.
On Tuesday, Feb. 26, there will be 2 Megillah readings at 8:30 am and 9:15 am. There will be fun and festivities throughout the day. In addition, Mishloach Manos, the traditional gift basket distributed to family and friends, is available through Chabad for purchase. All services are held at the Chabad Hebrew Academy, 10785 Pomerado Rd. For more information, please call 566-1996.
