Scripps-Mesa Bible Church

We are Scripps-Mesa Bible Church (SMBC). We are a church made up of recovering hypocrites. We are not perfect, but we are seeking to live out the reality of our faith personally and corporately. We are a church of weaklings. We know that we cannot make it by ourselves; we need the help which God gives and the support and encouragement of others in our church. We can’t do it alone, but with God and others we will succeed. We are a church of beginners; experts need not apply. We are fellow travelers and learners growing together in our faith in God, and love for God and one another.

We are SMBC and if you are a hypocrite with a desire to change, a weakling in need of encouragement and support, or a beginner on the journey of faith–we have just the place for you. Come and check us out!
