At one point in His ministry, Jesus turns to His disciples and asks them, "Who do you say that I am?" This is an important question because the answer to it will significantly change how one views the ministry of Jesus.
If Jesus is just a great teacher, then His words are wise, as all other great teachers’ words are wise. However, if Jesus is who He says He is–Bread of Life, Living Water, The Way, The Truth, The Life–then Jesus is God clothed in flesh.
His words, as well as His life, death, and resurrection, take on eternal significance. He is like no other before Him or since. We at Scripps-Mesa Bible Church believe Jesus was, and is, God, and that His words lead one to life, peace, and hope. Who do you say Jesus is? Your future depends on your answer.
