The SRCA continues to bring you updates as to the SDG&E’s Scripps Poway Parkway Replacement Project – Pipeline Safety Enhancement Plan (PSEP) on Scripps Poway Parkway. This is update #5 – February 25, 2022.  Night work planned near/around I-15 overpass.

Over the past three months, steady progress continues on the Scripps Poway Parkway Replacement Project. Construction is now 51% complete on the project, which encompasses 3.7 miles of pipe installation between Pomerado Road, along Scripps Poway Parkway, west to Mercy Road at Branicole Lane.

Thank you for your continued patience as SDG&E crews work to complete the Scripps Poway Parkway Replacement Project as well as similar pipeline safety projects nearby along Pomerado Road.

This notice is to inform you that reduced traffic lanes may be necessary along Scripps Poway Parkway as we work from east-to-west:

Crew #1:                      Scripps Poway Parkway from Sunshine Peak Court/Vail Court to Village Ridge Road/Cypress Canyon Road
Time Frame:               February 3 – March 9, 2022
Normal Workdays:    Monday – Friday
Work Hours*:             8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

NEXT Crew #1:            Scripps Poway Parkway from Village Ridge Road/Cypress Canyon Road to east of Village Ridge Road/Scripps Creek Drive
Time Frame:               March 9 – March 23, 2022
Normal Workdays:    Monday – Friday
Work Hours*:             8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

Crew #2:                      Scripps Poway Parkway from just before Scripps Summit Drive to just before Scripps Highlands Drive
Time Frame:               January 14 – March 7, 2022
Normal Workdays:    Monday – Friday
Work Hours*:             7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Normal Workdays:    Sundays – Thursdays
NIGHT Work Hours:   9:00 p.m. – 5:00 a.m.
