Scripps Ranch Soccer Club
Opening Day ceremonies for the Scripps Ranch Soccer Club (SRSC) are scheduled for Sunday, Sept. 8, at the Scripps Ranch Community Park. Festivities are scheduled to begin at noon and end at 5 pm. Activities will include a giant slide for the players and youth, a banner contest, and various drills and competitions for prizes! Additionally, we look forward to food booths from local restaurants, retail sales booths, and many other activities! All are invited to come early and stay late at this fun-filled event!
The SRSC is accepting late registration applications for our soccer program. If you have a child between the ages of 5 and 19 who would like to play soccer this season, please promptly contact registrar Rick Harmonson at 578-0562 or [[email protected]] or director of coaching ChaCha Namdar at 695-3459 or [[email protected]]. Since our teams have already been formed, registration is subject to availability. Recreational soccer practices begin in mid-August and continue through the soccer season. Recreational soccer games begin on Saturday, Sept. 7.
Our club is always seeking sponsors. We urge all sponsors and potential sponsors to visit our website and see the new and exciting sponsorship opportunities available, including different levels of sponsorship, the opportunity to sponsor special events, and sponsorship benefits.

Scripps Ranch Pop Warner Football and Cheer
On Aug. 1 we started our season with two weeks of conditioning followed by practices. We hope all of our football players and cheerleaders have been getting in shape over the summer to get ready for the upcoming season! SRPW conditioning and practices are held at Dingeman Elementary School and the Scripps Ranch High School soccer field. Cheer will practice at the SRHS softball field.
We have been busy preparing for the upcoming season. We have distributed equipment, collected needed paperwork from players and cheerleaders, and ordered jerseys and uniforms. Our coaches have been getting CPR certified and attending training meetings and clinics. They have been extensively trained in the most updated safety training and will share what they learned with parents. We also held our annual summer conditioning camp in June and July.
All players will be weight certified on Saturday, Aug. 24. Our Opening Day festivities and picture day will be on Sunday, Aug. 25, and our first games will be away games on Saturday, Aug. 31. For more information and game schedules, visit our website at [www.scrippsranchpopwarner.com]. Go Falcons!

Scripps Ranch Women’s Athletic Club
The Scripps Ranch Women’s Athletic Club (SRWAC) is a nonprofit organization whose goal is to provide the residents of Scripps Ranch and nearby communities with sports programs and sports-related support. The SRWAC offers basketball, volleyball, and soccer leagues throughout the year for women 25 years of age or older, as well as coed softball. Our fundraising and volunteer efforts are focused right here in Scripps Ranch: we provide several scholarships annually for local high school senior girls, support youth and high school sports programs, and sponsor Symphony in the Park.
Women’s Basketball: The summer season starts on Monday, Aug. 12. We will have our last open gym night on Monday, Aug. 5. All women interested in playing must attend at least one open gym before being placed on a team. This recreational league is open to women ages 25 and older. We welcome all skill levels.
Games are played on Mondays at 6, 7, or 8 pm at the Scripps Ranch Recreation Center. This league is a great place to play, sweat, and make friends! Please visit our website at [www.srwac.org] for information and registration details. If you have any questions, please contact Sylvia Ferrer-McGrade at [[email protected]].
Women’s Soccer: The 14-week fall season starts in early September. Please check [www.srwac.org] for more information and registration details. Register early to save on registration fees!
