Scripps Ranch Pop Warner Football and Cheer
It’s time to sign up for Scripps Ranch Pop Warner (SRPW) football and cheer! All registration must be done online prior to arriving at sign-ups. You can go to our website at [www.scrippsranchpopwarner.com], click on the “register online” button, and pay online with your credit card. Then, print out all your registration forms and bring your documents to sign-ups.
Sign-ups are on Saturday, Apr. 12, from 10 am to 2 pm and Wednesday, Apr. 16, from 5 to 8 pm at the Scripps Ranch Recreation Center on Blue Cypress Drive. We will have nurse practitioners onsite to do physicals. Due to safety concerns and to increase the safety of our players, we are investing in brand new helmets for players this year, so we need all players to come to sign-ups to be fitted.
If players want to wear their same jersey, please bring it so we can make sure it still fits. We also will be fitting for jerseys and spirit packs. Players receive all gear including a new spirit pack to keep as part of their registration fees this year.
Our season officially starts on Friday, Aug. 1, with two weeks of mandatory conditioning. We strongly encourage families to plan vacations prior to Aug. 1, and to not take vacations from Friday, Aug. 1, through Monday, Aug. 11. Players cannot start practicing with teams until they have completed the conditioning. We look forward to another great season! Go Falcons!

The Scripps Ranch National Junior Basketball (NJB) program is designed to introduce, teach, and develop the fundamentals of basketball to our local youth, as well as to promote good sportsmanship, teamwork, and healthy competition. We feel this creates a valuable learning experience for the children of our community.
We just completed our 17th season with 450 Scripps Ranch boys and girls in grades 3–8 making up 46 teams! We are very grateful for our local sponsors—see the full-page ad on page 55—that helped fund and support this year’s league. We would not have been able to provide such a great program without their help.
League play concluded the last weekend in February with our Division 1 tournament. Our 14 All-Star teams participated in NJB’s postseason tournaments throughout March. As we end another season, we want to thank our players, coaches, parents, and Scripps Ranch High School for making the season a success!
We hope to see you on the courts next fall! The SRNJB board is looking for enthusiastic volunteers to serve next season. Contact us at [[email protected]].To learn more about NJB, visit our website at [www.scrippsranchnjb.org].
