Scripps Ranch Soccer Club

Soccer season is upon us! If you have not yet registered, please visit our website to complete the registration process.

The Scripps Ranch Soccer Club (SRSC) is a nonprofit organization run primarily through volunteer efforts. Our club’s success is largely due to the great sense of community spirit. With more than 1,500 children in our program, we are able to field many recreational and competitive teams, which participate in the San Diego Presidio League.

Our club is dedicated to promoting youth soccer, encouraging the positive aspects of team sports, and developing skilled players with a long-lasting love of the sport. To achieve our goals, we rely on the overwhelming volunteer efforts of our community and upon individual, local, and corporate sponsorship donations.

We continue to value the long-lasting relationship with our loyal sponsors, and we hope new sponsors consider contributing to our club. We encourage all sponsors and potential sponsors to visit our website and see the new and exciting sponsorship opportunities available, as well as the additional benefits for our valued sponsors.

For more about sponsorships or the SRSC, please visit [www.scrippsranchsc.com] or call the hotline at 974-5393.

Joe Barr, SRSC President

Thank You, SRLL Sponsors

As we end another Scripps Ranch Little League (SRLL) season, it’s a fine time to reflect on the many things for which we are grateful. It is also a great time to thank all the wonderful families for their support and participation in SRLL. This season has been another successful one with about 700 players enjoying the opportunity to play recreation league baseball.

SRLL is thankful to all of those who contributed to our league. Once again the San Diego Padres made a significant donation of official high-quality Padres uniforms. This initiative, coordinated by Little League District 32, provided our league with almost 600 uniforms.

We run a creative sponsorship program. Many businesses and organizations stepped up and provided significant financial donations. We are very grateful to our sponsors and especially want to thank those who support us year after year. We strongly encourage everyone to support these local businesses and organizations.

Thank you, SRLL sponsors!

SR Women’s Athletic Club

The Scripps Ranch Women’s Athletic Club (SRWAC) is a nonprofit organization whose goal is to provide the residents of Scripps Ranch and nearby communities with sports programs and sports-related support. The SRWAC offers basketball, volleyball, and soccer leagues throughout the year for women 25 years of age or older, as well as coed softball.

Our fundraising and volunteer efforts are focused in Scripps Ranch: we provide scholarships annually, support youth and high school sports, and sponsor Symphony in the Park concerts. Please visit [www.srwac.org] for more about our group and registration details. Please check us out on Facebook—we hope you “Like” us!

The Scripps Ranch Lacrosse Association’s (SRLAX) 2014 spring season is complete. This year SRLAX fielded two boys teams in each age division: Pee-Wees, 1st–4th grade; 5th–6th grade; and, 7th–8th grade. The girls program fielded three teams in the Pee-Wee Division—2nd–4th grade—and one team each for Divisions I, II, and III, 5th–8th grade.

SRLAX is a community-based group and is dependent upon parent volunteers and sponsorships. As such, the SRLAX Board would like to thank our coaches, team parents, and parent volunteers for the immeasurable number of hours that have gone into making this a successful season. We also would like to thank our community partners for their sponsorship:

  • Scripps Ranch Old Pros
  • Lindgren Financial
  • Scripps Ranch Family Dentistry
  • Gilmore Orthodontics
  • Advanced Neurobehavioral Health Concussion Clinic
  • MPE Consulting, electrical engineering

Additional parent volunteers are needed to keep the program running for next season. The SRLAX Board needs to fill board vacancies and committee positions. If you’re interested, please email Tom Devine at [[email protected]] or Carl Stepnowsky at [[email protected]]. Thank you in advance for helping keep Scripps Ranch Lacrosse going!
