Recreational Sports Leagues for Women

The Scripps Ranch Women’s Athletic Club (SRWAC) offers basketball, soccer, and volleyball leagues for women. These are fun, recreational leagues for women 25 years of age or older. Most of us are in our 30s, 40s, and 50s—we even have a couple of 60+ playing in the basketball league, which is on Monday nights. The volleyball and soccer leagues play on Wednesday nights. If you are interested in playing with us, please visit for more information.

The SRWAC is a nonprofit organization whose goal is to provide the residents of Scripps Ranch and nearby communities with sports programs and sports-related support. In addition to our sports leagues, our fundraising and volunteer efforts are focused in Scripps Ranch: we provide several scholarships annually for local high school senior girls; support youth and high school sports programs; and sponsor Symphony in the Park.

Please visit for more information about our organization. Also, check us out on Facebook—we hope you “Like” us!

The Scripps Ranch National Junior Basketball League (NJB) will conduct player assessments for the upcoming winter season on Sunday, Oct. 4 and 11. Practices begin the week of Nov. 2, and the first weekend of games will be Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 21 and 22.

If you have not registered your player—boys and girls grades, 3–8—please visit our website at to see if we have spots available. Interested coaches and league sponsors should contact us at [email protected]

Scripps Ranch Soccer Club

Our regular 2015 season is under way with more than 1,500 recreational and competitive players. Some of the regular soccer season schedules go through mid-December, with tournament play continuing thereafter. Please stop by one of our many community fields on a Saturday to watch and support our youth soccer. The games are fun to watch!

The Scripps Ranch Soccer Club (SRSC) is always looking for additional sponsors. A full sponsorship is $300. The names of our sponsors are displayed on a large banner at various soccer games throughout the season and recognized in our “Sponsor Thank You/Recognition” page in the November SRCA Newsletter. Our sponsors also receive a “Thank You” plaque and invitation for two to our sponsor/coach year-end celebration dinner.

We encourage all sponsors and potential sponsors to visit our website and see the new and exciting sponsorship opportunities available. Those include different levels of sponsorship, the opportunity to sponsor special events, and additional benefits for our valued sponsors. For more information about the SRSC, please visit
