Women’s Tennis Team are Number 1!

The Scripps Ranch Swim and Racquet Club’s (SRSRC) AA Women’s Te nis Team (right) are number one in Southern California and one of the top 17 teams in the United States! The team won the United States Tennis Association’s League Championships 4.5 Plus and move on to compete n Nationals across the country.

The first Nationals competition is from Friday, Oct. 21, through Sunday, Oct. 23, in La Quinta, near Palm Springs. Everyone is welcome to cheer them on!

Celebrate the Soccer Season

The Scripps Ranch Soccer Club (SRSC) Socctoberfest Ceremonies are on Sunday, Oct. 2, at the Scripps Ranch Community Park. Festivities begin at 8 am and end at 6 pm. Activities will include Music by DJ Tim, free inflatables with a giant slide, SRSC gear for sale, free bubble soccer games, a banner contest, free radar speed shooting contest, our coaches game, food booths, retail sales booths, and many other activities! All are invited to come early and stay late at this fun-filled event!

Our regular 2016 season is well under way, with nearly 1,500 recreational and competitive players. Please stop by one of our many community fields on a Saturday to watch and support our youth soccer.

We are always looking for additional sponsors. A full sponsorship costs $300. The names of our sponsors are displayed on a large banner at various soccer games throughout the season and recognized in our “Spons r Thank You/Recognition” page in the SRCA Newsletter.

Our sponsors receive a “Thank You” plaque and invitation to our sponsor/coach year-end dinner. Scripps Ranch Women’s Athletic Club

The Scripps Ranch Women’s Athletic Club (SRWAC) is a nonprof t organization whose goal is to provide the residents of Scripps Ranch and nearby communities with sports programs and sports-related support. The SRWAC offers basketball, volleyball, and soccer leagues throughout the year for women 25 years of age or older, as well as coed softball.

Volleyball: This is a fun, recreational league for women 25 or older. Play is on Wednesdays from 5:30 to 7:30 pm at the Scripps Ranch Recreation Center.

Basketball: Play is underway. Our next season begins in the winter. We play on Monday nights at the Rec Center and welcome all newcomers!

Soccer: The fall season is underway. We play on Wednesdays from 7:30 to 9 pm. The next season begins in the winter.
