Games and Exciting Events

The Scripps Ranch Soccer Club’s Socctoberfest is on Sunday, Oct. 7, at the Scripps Ranch Community Park. This is our annual picture day and celebration about everything soccer! Activities will include music by DJ Tim, inflatable jumpies and a giant slide, Scripps Ranch Soccer Club (SRSC) gear for sale, free bubble soccer games, a banner contest, food booths, retail sales booths, and many other activities! The fun starts at 9 am and ends around 3 pm.

Our regular 2018 season is well under way with more than 120 teams competing in recreational and competitive leagues. With more than 1,100 games to be played this season, parents please remember these tips to stay positive, support your child, and have fun!

  1. Avoid coaching from the sideline. Cheer, but don’t coach.
  2. Don’t criticize the referees. They will make mistakes.
  3. Focus on the benefits of the game rather than the score.
  4. Think when interacting with opposing fans.
  5. Don’t stress out over the game.
  6. Wait 24 hours before bringing issues or suggestions to the coach.

Our Recreational 3v3 Soccer Tournament will be on Sunday, Oct. 14. All ages are welcome to compete in the tournament. There will be prizes for the finalists and good competition all day!

It’s Game Time!

Another exciting Scripps Ranch National Junior Basketball (NJB) season starts on Sunday, Nov. 18! Our popular NJB shooting shirts and Jamba Juice cards return this season, as well as exciting basketball games for boys and girls in grades 3–6. We will not have a 7th–8th grade division due to a lack of access to the high school gym. However, visit our website for an alternate winter league for that age group.
