Youth Lacrosse: Register Now!

Registration is open through the end of December for the Scripps Ranch Lacrosse (SRLAX) spring season. Please visit our website at for all the registration information. Register early as space is limited!

Boys Grades 1–8: The boys’ season runs February through May. Practices are during the week at Marshall Middle School (MMS), and games are on the weekends throughout San Diego County. New this year is the option to buy discounted new equipment through SRLAX or rent equipment to minimize the cost to new lacrosse families.

The boys program offered free weekly clinics every Sunday in October. Nearly 70 Scripps Ranch boys participated and received hands-on experience including cradling, passing, catching, and shooting.

On Tuesday and Wednesday, Dec. 11 and 12, Russ Olsen, the new director of the boys program, will provide instruction to the boys during PE at MMS. A middle school clinic will take place on Sunday, Dec. 16, for interested and registered spring players. It is so exciting to see the youth program grow (pictured above)!

For more updates about our program, visit us on Facebook at “Scripps Ranch Boys Lacrosse” or at For questions or more information, email Carl Stepnowsky at [email protected]

Girls Grades 3–8: The girls fall off-season has been a great success. The girls spring season runs February through June. Practices are at MMS and games are played throughout San Diego County. Check out or email Greg Alioto at [email protected] for more information.

Play Ball

Registration for the 2019 spring season is now underway. Register on our upgraded website at or come in person to our walk-in registration. As of press time, that date and time had not been determined, so please check our website for details.

We will register all levels of Scripps Ranch Little League (SRLL), from T-Ball through Juniors. Register early so that we can communicate with you about assessments—mandatory for all participants—pitching and hitting clinics, and 2019 Opening Day.

The new season also gives our community many opportunities to volunteer. We have some spots open on our board of directors. Also, we need help managing teams, assisting with team coordination, keeping score, or managing the snack bar.

We welcome sponsorships from businesses and individuals. Your donation helps our kids play “America’s National Pastime”! Please reach out if you would like to help SRLL in any way. Email us at [email protected], visit our website, or check out our Facebook page. Then be sure to stop by one of the Scripps Ranch baseball fields to watch some exciting games when the season starts!

Registration is Open for Girls Softball

After a very successful and exciting 2018 season, the Scripps Ranch Softball Association (SRSA) looks forward to another great year. In 2018 approximately 270 girls ages 6 to 14 participated in the recreational season. In addition, 120 participated in All-Stars giving Scripps Ranch a record-breaking 10 All-Star teams, more than any other league in the North San Diego District.

All of our All-Star teams had tremendous success throughout the summer. The 14U and 8U teams earned a district championship and the 12U team was a district finalist. For the first time in league history, all four of the Gold All-Star teams went to the California State Championship Tournament in Lancaster. The 12U All-Star team also earned an invitation to play in Western Nationals where they placed 17th in the tournament.

Registration for the 2019 spring season is open, and players of all ages and skill levels are encouraged to sign up! SRSA has teamed up with Power Line Athletics to provide hitting and pitching clinics to help girls prepare for the upcoming season. We can’t wait to see you out on the field! Additional registration and clinic information can be found on the SRSA website at
