Stargazing in Scripps Ranch – Rain or clouds cancel.
Friday, June 24th, Sunset
West Sycamore Staging area-east end of Stonebridge Pkwy. 92131 (map)

The San Diego Astronomy Association (SDAA), along with our own Scripps Ranch amateur astronomers, will help us view many of the amazing objects visible in our night sky, including, planets, individual stars, clusters, nebula, and possibly even galaxies. Please, NO WHITE FLASHLIGHTS as they ruin our night-adapted vision. Red lens flashlights are fine. Please park on the street and walk in. If you plan to bring a telescope and have not yet contacted us, [email protected] and you’ll receive final setup details. For updates, including event times and the go/no-go status for either date, check the San Diego Astronomy Association’s website, and we will also try and update our SRCA Facebook/Twitter for cancellation of event.
