Sybil Tenna Lee Larson, age 80, passed away peacefully September 6, 2011 while she and her husband were spending time with family in Fresno, California. Through faith and courage Sybil miraculously survived 14 years with advanced cancer. She was born July 15, 1931 to Fred and Emma Julia Haymore Lee, in Camas Washington. She attended Brigham Young University where she majored in Art and Interior Design. She married Walter Parkinson Larson 57 years ago on June 4, 1954 in the Salt Lake Temple. They had 11 children, Richard, Julia, David, Rebecca, Rosalind, Rachel, James, Peter, Nathan and Sarah, 35 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren. Sybil was preceded in in death by son Benjamin. For many years, they lived in Salt Lake City, retiring in Scripps Ranch in San Diego. She was a steadfast member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was a woman of great faith. Her sparkling personality, warmth and positive attitude endeared her to anyone who knew her. She was a talented artist and interior decorator, owned a successful advertising agency and was a published award winning poet. Her devotion as wife, mother and grandmama was her greatest and lasting accomplishments.
