Carroll Canyon (Pomerado Rd) Chaparral Walk- Scripps Ranch
Saturday, September 26th 2015 8:00am
Meet at Fairbrook, a few hundred feet from Pomerado
Join Lee Gordon, California Native Plant Society Member, for a tour of native plants that grow in our neighborhood. This year’s summer rain has them looking good so you can see how they might look with little irrigation in your garden.
We will mostly walk a trail, but also through weeds and bushwhack a bit.
Wear long pants, a hat, hiking shoes, and water.
Lee studies native plant propagation and habitat restoration. He will bring cherry and lemonade berry seeds and instructions for growing natives from seed.
